Layer Cache

Utilizing Layer Cache can greatly improve load times.

Layer Cache works by caching the geojson data from PostGIS and serving this data ("cache") rather than making a new request from PostGIS. Cache is expired and refreshed at the interval you select below.

Use of Layer Cache depends on how frequently your data is updated and accessed.

By default, Layer Cache is off. You can enable Layer Cache in the Data section of your Map:

Select the Cache interval (Hours, Minutes, Days, or Weeks) and click Update

You can also clear cache at any time via the Maps table by clicking the "Clear Cache icon as shown below"

Clearing cache will cause the existing geojson cache to be deleted and refreshed on the next map load.
