Send data to S3

GeoJibe can upload the converted file to Amazon S3 or compatible object storage.

You need to be signed in.

Before you start

You'll need a bucket, credentials that can write the object, and the object key you want to create.

1. Save an S3 Destination

Open Destinations → Add Destination → S3.

Field What to enter
Endpoint Leave empty for AWS
Region For example us-east-1
Bucket Destination bucket
Base prefix Optional folder prepended to keys
Access key / Secret key Write credentials
Use path-style addressing Keep checked for MinIO and many compatible servers

Click Test, then Save.

2. Add your data

Upload or import, then Convert if you need a specific output format. The object GeoJibe writes is the converted file.

3. Choose S3

Add S3, select the saved Destination, and set Object key, for example exports/neighborhoods.gpkg.

If the key ends with /, GeoJibe appends the converted filename.

Existing object:

  • Fail if object exists — do not overwrite
  • Overwrite existing object — replace the object

4. Run

Click Run or Save to S3.

What happens next?

The converted file is stored at that key. Raster and vector outputs are both fine — S3 just stores the file.
