Current Report Dataset

Use Current Report Dataset when the report query already returns geometry (or geometry keys) you want to draw.

Goal

Configure a map that uses the Current Report Dataset source.

Prerequisites

• A map element is on the canvas
• Required connections exist in Connection Manager (when applicable)

Steps

1. Select the map element.
2. Set Map source to Current Report Dataset.
3. Configure map SQL / geometry field settings as shown in Properties.
4. Choose extent mode (for example current record, group, or full layer).
5. Optionally set symbology and labels.
6. Preview.

Result

Preview renders features from the Current Report Dataset source inside the map frame.

Tips

Tip

Ensure the report query selects the geometry column the map expects.
