Page Header

The Page Header prints at the top of each page. Use it for report name, confidential markings, or page-level context.

Goal

Use the Page Header band correctly in your report layout.

Prerequisites

  • A report is open on the Design tab

Steps

  1. Open the Design tab.
  2. In the Design explorer, select the Page Header band (create or enable it if your report does not show it yet).
  3. Set the band height in Properties if needed.
  4. Place elements (labels, fields, images, and so on) inside the band.

Result

Content in the Page Header band appears according to the band’s role in the page/group lifecycle.

Tips

Tip

Combine Page Header with Page Footer for consistent branding across pages.

Warning

Avoid placing large maps or tall charts in the Page Header — they reduce space for Detail rows.
