Legend¶
Show a thematic legend inset on supported feature maps.
Goal¶
Display a legend for classified map symbology.
Steps¶
- Select the map.
- Configure symbology/classification as needed.
- Enable Show legend (or equivalent checkbox) in Map Properties.
- Preview.

Result¶
A legend inset is included in the rendered map when symbology supports it.
Tips¶
Note
Standalone legend decoration elements created by some wizards are placeholders. Prefer the map’s built-in legend checkbox for thematic feature maps.
