List

A List repeats a nested layout for related rows — useful for sub-collections inside a band.

Goal

Add a List element to the report and configure it.

Prerequisites

• A report is open on the Design tab
• The target band exists

Steps

1. Select the List tool (or Insert → List).
2. Place the list on the canvas.
3. Configure the dataset and child elements inside the list.
4. Preview to confirm repeating behavior.

Result

The List appears on the canvas and in Preview according to its properties.

Tips

Note

An empty list may show as a placeholder rectangle on the canvas until content is configured.
