Barcode¶
A Barcode encodes a value as a scannable barcode symbol.
Goal¶
Add a Barcode element to the report and configure it.
Prerequisites¶
- A report is open on the Design tab
- The target band exists
Steps¶
- Select the Barcode tool (or Insert → Barcode…).
- Place the barcode on the canvas.
- Choose the barcode symbology and bind the value expression.
- Adjust size so the barcode remains scannable when printed.

Result¶
The Barcode appears on the canvas and in Preview according to its properties.
Tips¶
Tip
Preview at 100% zoom and test-scan a printed page when barcode readability matters.
