GeoServer

The GeoServer map source renders layers through a GeoServer connection defined in Connection Manager.

Goal

Configure a map that uses the GeoServer source.

Prerequisites

• A map element is on the canvas
• Required connections exist in Connection Manager (when applicable)

Steps

1. Add a GeoServer connection (service URL and credentials as required).
2. Test the connection.
3. On the map, choose GeoServer and select that connection.
4. Pick the layer (and style when available).
5. Optionally map report parameters to GeoServer filters.
6. Preview.

Result

Preview renders features from the GeoServer source inside the map frame.

Tips

Tip

Use the same connection display name on AcuGIS Report Server when publishing maps that must resolve server-side.
