Rounded Rectangle

A Rounded Rectangle is like a rectangle with rounded corners.

Goal

Add a Rounded Rectangle element to the report and configure it.

Prerequisites

• A report is open on the Design tab
• The target band exists

Steps

1. Open Shapes on the Design toolbar and choose Rounded Rectangle (or the matching Insert item).
2. Draw the shape on the canvas.
3. Set stroke, fill, and position in Properties.

Result

The Rounded Rectangle appears on the canvas and in Preview according to its properties.

Tip

Use shapes sparingly — prefer theme styles for consistent branding.
