Oracle Spatial¶
Use Oracle Spatial to render geometries from an Oracle connection.
Goal¶
Configure a map that uses the Oracle Spatial source.
Prerequisites¶
- A map element is on the canvas
- Required connections exist in Connection Manager (when applicable)
Steps¶
- Create an Oracle connection.
- Set the map source to Oracle Spatial.
- Select the connection and provide spatial SQL / layer settings.
- Configure extent and symbology.
- Preview.

Result¶
Preview renders features from the Oracle Spatial source inside the map frame.
Tips¶
Note
Spatial privileges and SRID consistency matter — confirm with your DBA if features do not appear.
